Thude first appears beside Eshonai as a Listener in workform, but the memory of his newly adopted warform reveals a more imposing and exuberant figure, leaping to discover what his body can do. He refuses stormform and becomes one of the listeners who escape, a choice that places him among the people Venli once tried to protect. He is one of those to whom Venli gave her best, and his survival stands as a quiet measure of her complicated legacy.
Description
Thude’s warform is powerful and imposing, covered in reddish-orange carapace that rises over his head like a skullcap. Beneath the shell, his skin carries a familiar marbled pattern; in workform, he has a beard. His deep voice and awkwardly tied wrap soften the monstrous first impression, while his energetic movements suggest a strength he is still learning to inhabit.
