Hirgon

Minor

His grey eyes hold the unyielding pride of Gondor, scanning horizons with a rider's vigilance. There's a noble bearing about him, like a echo of lost heroes, that commands respect even in haste.

Hirgon, a swift errand-rider of Gondor, emerges in The Return of the King as a pivotal figure whose desperate mission to Rohan symbolizes the kingdom's unyielding resolve amid encroaching doom. Bearing the ancient Red Arrow—a beacon of urgent summons akin to that which once called Boromir—he races northward, delivering the plea for aid that rallies Théoden's riders to the fateful Battle of the Pelennor Fields. Fulfilling his duty with steadfast loyalty, Hirgon perishes in the ensuing siege, his brief but critical role igniting the alliance that turns the tide toward victory in Gondor's darkest hour.

Physical Description

Tall and proud like Boromir, this adult Gondorian rider has piercing grey eyes and dark hair framing strong, noble features. His athletic build is clad in fine mail beneath a dark green cloak, a silver star gleaming on the front of his helm. He bears a black-feathered, red-pointed arrow, his stance resolute and commanding.
