Bassan serves as Merise’s Warder, offering the steadfast protection and close companionship that bond entails. His solid presence and unforced humor make him a reassuring figure among the Aes Sedai and their attendants. Though his place in the wider struggle is modest, he remains a loyal guard whose steadiness is never in doubt.
Description
Bassan is a short, broad-shouldered, stocky Cairhienin man with a strongly tanned complexion. His sturdy build gives him the compact strength of a practiced guard. He wears practical clothing appropriate to his duties, and his open, smiling manner lends warmth to an otherwise watchful presence.
