He is a glimpse of wildness at the edge of the trees: alert, silent, and more aware of his surroundings than any human nearby. A white mark on his tail makes him easy to recognize amid the shifting shapes of the forest pack.

White Tail is a wolf of the pack called Hunting-the-Leaves, recognized by the white marking on his tail. He is mentioned as one of the wolves connected to the wider world beyond human settlements, a presence defined by pack and wilderness rather than speech or human custom. The brief account leaves his individual nature elusive, like a shape slipping between the trees.
Description
White Tail is a wolf with a natural, sturdy build and a coat described only as that of a forest animal; no specific coloring beyond his namesake marking is established. A distinct white patch on his tail sets him apart from the other wolves. His alert, quiet presence suggests a creature at home among the trees and attentive to every movement around him.
