Hearne carries the outward dignity of a Tairen lord, but there is little ease in that nobility. He feels like a man watching certainty slip away, his composure strained by an increasingly desperate world.

Hearne is one of the Tairen lords caught in the besieged city, where despair begins to overtake the nobility around him. A named opponent of the Dragon Reborn, he represents the old Tairen order confronting a crisis it cannot master. The account offers little more of his personal story, leaving him as a glimpse of aristocratic fear under siege.
Description
Hearne is a Tairen nobleman, distinguished by the carefully groomed pointed beard associated with Tairen lords. No details are given about his age, height, build, complexion, hair, or eyes, so those features should remain unspecified. His bearing is that of a high-born man, with the formality of a courtier even under strain. His clothing is not described beyond the expectation of noble dress; no particular colors or accessories are established.
