Lady Nelein was the grandmother of Lord Edmun and a matriarch of an ancient family, now long dead. A servant claims to have seen her in a corridor, frowning in anger like a ghost. Though she is only mentioned, the image of her stern, lingering presence gives the old house a chill of its own.
Description
Lady Nelein is described as a deceased matriarch of an ancient lineage, with a notably stern, angry frown. No reliable details are given about her height, build, complexion, hair, eyes, or clothing. Her visual impression rests on the authority implied by her noble status and the hard, displeased set of her face.
