Rahema looks as if fear and fatigue have worn away every comfortable edge: her eyes sink into shadow, and dirt clings stubbornly to her face and clothes. Her strained little smile makes her seem both guarded and painfully vulnerable.

Rahema Arnor is a merchant encountered in a state of visible exhaustion and fear, her appearance marked by grime and hollowed eyes. She nervously smiles, wets her lips, and breaks into sobs, while the dark embroidery of her dress remains barely visible beneath the dirt. Later, she is seen watching grain being winnowed and sacks loaded onto wagons. Her brief role leaves her defined by the precarious, anxious stillness of a trader caught in unsettled times.

Description

Rahema is a gaunt, worn-looking woman with a drawn face and eyes sunk deep into dark hollows. Her face is smeared with grime, and her dark dress is soiled enough to obscure much of the embroidery at its collar and sleeves. She has a nervous, strained expression, often seeming on the verge of a wavering smile or a frightened swallow. Her overall presence is tired and unkempt, with the remnants of a merchant’s careful dress buried beneath dirt.
