There is a quick, weighing intelligence in the way Siuan seems to take the measure of a room, and her words carry the salt tang of the sea. Even in the background of other people’s conversations, she feels like someone whose attention is never idle.

Once the Amyrlin Seat, Siuan was deposed and stilled during the Tower’s division, then escaped with help from Gawyn. She became a discreet adviser to Egwene and put her experience to work managing the rebel camp’s eyes-and-ears network. Her complicated connection with Gareth Bryne became one of the defining personal ties of her later life, even as she continued to serve the cause with sharp judgment and practical resolve.
Description
Siuan is a woman from Tear, recognizable in speech for an accent rich in sea-going turns of phrase. Her sharp, assessing gaze gives her an alert, formidable presence. The available descriptions do not establish her hair, complexion, build, or usual clothing, so those details remain unspecified.
