Barty Crouch Jr.

Crouch presided over his son’s trial and sent him to Azkaban after he was found among suspected Death Eaters. Sirius says Crouch’s concern for his reputation outweighed his fatherly affection; the son died in prison.

Crouch Jr.’s mother helps arrange his escape from Azkaban by exchanging appearances with him using Polyjuice Potion; she dies in Azkaban in his place.
