Calpurnius Piso Frugi was the only noble among the nineteen tyrants of his era, tracing his lineage through twenty-eight generations to Numa Pompilius. He claimed the right to display the images of Crassus and Pompey, and after his death at the hands of the usurper Valens, the Senate honored his memory with triumphal ornaments.
Description
Calpurnius Piso Frugi presents the classic image of a Roman patrician, with olive skin, dark hair, and refined, aristocratic features. He wears the toga and senatorial insignia of his ancient family, his posture marked by dignity and restraint. His presence evokes the long shadow of Rome's noble past.
