Gendar serves Berelain as a thief-catcher and is sent to spy on Masema’s camp under the pretense of plying its people with wine. He disappears there, and later accounts confirm only that he never returned. His fate remains unknown, leaving him as one more absence in the dangerous orbit around Masema.
Description
The text gives no specific physical description of Gendar: his height, build, complexion, hair, eyes, and clothing are unstated. He is identified by his work as a Mayener thief-catcher, a role that suggests discretion but does not establish a particular appearance. Keep his visual design plain and unobtrusive rather than assigning invented features. A watchful, reserved demeanor is appropriate to his function as a spy.
