Jessica begins as a Bene Gesserit and the concubine of Duke Leto, caught between the Sisterhood's designs and her fierce love for her son, Paul. After the fall of House Atreides, she and Paul survive in the desert and are taken into Fremen life, where Jessica becomes a Sayyadina and undergoes the transformation into a Reverend Mother. Her choices reshape the course of Fremen prophecy and place her in a complicated bond with the people she joins. Through it all, her disciplined mind and devotion to Paul remain defining forces.
Description
Jessica has a pale, composed face framed by polished bronze hair, with wide-set green eyes whose intensity is carefully restrained. Her expression is poised and watchful, suggesting a mind continually measuring what others reveal. She commonly wears flowing robes and slippers, with a crysknife strapped discreetly to her calf or arm and, at times, concealed in her bodice. Her bearing is graceful and controlled, yet carries an unmistakable Bene Gesserit authority.
